Northwestern University had planned to award Barack H. Obama's wacko preacher Jeremiah Wright an honorary 'Doctorate of Sacred Theology' degree. Wright was to receive the award at the upcoming June commencement ceremony. That move would have earned Northwestern University the STUP of the Century Award, but the school has since rescinded the invite saying, "In light of the controversy around Dr. Wright and to ensure that the celebratory character of commencement not be affected, the university has withdrawn its invitation to Dr. Wright."

Well, we wouldn't want to ruin the "celebratory character of commencement" so we have awarded Northwestern University the PERSPI Award for recognizing the errors of its ways and revoking Reverend Wright's invitation.
