Re: 09-01 In General

  • Never has a U.S. President mesmerized so many.......WHY ?....... When we are told what we can eat , what we can drive, what kind of light bulbs we can use and so on and so on. The kind of Government we are headed for is one of complete control. Even what we say is more monitored then ever. The sheep had better wake up and come out of their daze before they are lead straight to the slaughter.

Ed. Note: Hang in there! Socialism is a few years down the road. Hopefully, we can get rid of some of the more radical politicians in Washington and put our country back together. A democratic party is not the answer.

Re: 09-01 Obama Gets "…ationed"

  • like Rush Limbaugh’s “Immaculation,” and then The One then opened his mouth for his inaugural address, and out came what may very well be THE dumbest, and worst political speech of all time. I’ve said all along that this guy is an abject idiot. That speech, especially after locking himself away for 3 days to write it, proves it!

Ed. Note: Obama's inaugural speech was quite uneventful. You are correct.

Re: 09-01 For What It's Worth

  • Amazing!!! Just before I read this I was arguing with everyone at work about the same words you wrote. Sooooooo true. P.S. I think we are deep trouble.
    Just my .02

Ed. Note: Great minds think alike.

Re: 09-01 For What It's Worth

  • I say AMEN brother Skeeles. Ronald Reagin couldn't have said it better!

Ed. Note: Thank you, thank you. President Reagan was a good man.

Re: 09-01 For What It's Worth

  • This should really tic every American off!!! We need to throw all of them out. I couldn't figure out why Congress would let some firms go under and then bend over backwards to help another. This makes sense now!! This sounds almost too logical.......why hasn't it got any national press coverage? Remember when this economic crisis hit, and Congress let Bear Sterns go under, pushed a bunch of forced marriages between banks, etc? Then they bailed out AIG. At the time, I thought: "That's strange. What does an insurance company have to do with this crisis?"

I have just found the answer.
AIG INSURES THE PENSION TRUST OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS!!
No wonder they got bailed out right away! "To hell with our constituents, let's protect our own future", our Senators and Congressmen seemed to say..Nice to see where their loyalties lie!

Ed. Note: We are of the impression that the government insures the pensions itself. Couldn't ask for a better underwriter unless Pelosi's "stimulus" bill goes through.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your attention and have a good evening.

The bar is open.

How do you see it?
