ABC News Shows Footage Of Turkey’s Military Bombing Kurd Civilians, But Was It Really A 2016 Gun Range Video?
David A. Cook CoffeeShop Weekly October 2019
With President Trump coming under fire from both the left and right concerning his withdraw from Syria, ABC News was apparently attempting to make the President look even worse with video showing the slaughter of Kurd civilians. However, after closer examination, it appears ABC used a 2016 Knob Creek firing range video and passed it off as a Turkey offensive military strike. See a clip form the broadcast below.

Now watch the Knob Creek video below and see if you can see any difference. The surrounding area looks the same as well as the round trackers, the explosions, even the people watching can be seen in the flashes. ABC BUSTED

ABC News apologized Monday for using footage of a Kentucky gun range demonstration and passing it off as footage of a violent clash in Syria. "We've taken down video that aired on 'World News Tonight Sunday' and 'Good Morning America' this morning that appeared to be from the Syrian border immediately after questions were raised about its accuracy," the spokesperson said. "ABC News regrets the error."
How embarrassing to be caught red-handed trying to deceive the nation. If anyone thinks this was an accident, then you're not paying attention. If you remember, this was part of the narrative from the broadcast by Tom Llamas. "The situation is rapidly spiraling out of control in northern Syria," Llamas said Sunday night, "one week since President Trump ordered U.S. forces out of that region, effectively abandoning America's allies in the fight against [the Islamic State]." The idea here was to push the narrative of a Syrian massacre of Kurd civilians. Llamas continued, "The Kurds, who fought alongside the U.S. against ISIS. Now, horrific reports of atrocities committed by Turkish-backed fighters on those very allies." During this whole narrative they were playing the video from a nighttime machine gun demonstration at a firing range in Kentucky. Regardless of the correctness of the administrations decision to pull the troops, this was an attempted hit job on Trump. That much is crystal clear, and it is good to see ABC being exposed.
