On December 30th CoffeeShop Weekly posted a story about Joe Biden criticizing a new law passed on September 1, 2019 in Texas allowing people to carry firearms in houses of worship. Biden called the law “totally irrational”. He also stated his desire to ban all weapons that use magazines.
On December 29, 2019, a man entered the West Freeway Church of Christ and opened fire with a sawed-off shotgun. Within 6 seconds of the first shots fired the gunman was killed by a church member who was carrying. Unfortunately, two people were killed in the attack in addition to the shooter.
After the shooting, Biden was on live television taking questions from audience members when a lady asked him:
“With the tragedy that just happened in Texas, my question is how do you justify the democratic view on gun control when the shooter was stopped by a man who was legally licensed to carry a gun?”
Biden’s direct response to her question was short and decisive: “Well first of all, the kind of gun being carried he shouldn’t have been carrying.” He then went off topic for the rest of his response.
Next up was Elizabeth Warren. She was asked point blank:
“Will you support a universal conceal carry law for everyone in the country who’s willing to be licensed and checked by the government?”
“No,” Warren responded as she shakes her head and her supporters applaud.

One must wonder why democrats are so averse to people protecting themselves from people whose intent is to cause harm? Why do they insist on “Gun Free Zones” when these are the preferred locations for people who want to spread carnage? Something must be wrong when it is politically advantageous for democrats to have multiple people killed by gun violence rather than having someone carrying a gun thwart a killer or at least minimize the damage. What are they really hoping for? What do they really want?
